Mary M. (Maurer) Forget, passed away October 5th, 2016 surrounded by her family.
Mary is preceded in death by her husband, Henry J. Forget, her best friend, Martha Haven, and her parents John and Dorothy Maurer.
She is survived by her three sons, David (Dawn), Mark (Aimee), Patrick (Julie), her eight loving grandchildren, Gretchen, Emily, Emma, John, Abby, Kira, Elise, Corryn, her five siblings, Sharon Royce, John P. (Ginnie) Maurer, Michael (Kathleen) Maurer, George (Diane) Maurer, and Agnes (George) Niessing, and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
There will be a celebration of life on Saturday, November 12th at May Memorial Unitarian Universalist Society, 3800 East Genesee Street, Syracuse, NY 13214 from 1pm to 2pm, with a luncheon to follow until 4pm. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in Mary's honor to The Upstate Golisano Children's Hospital of Syracuse or Hospice of Central New York.
