Scott, 62, of Liverpool, made plans to take his golf clubs and play the gentlemen’s game on greener pastures with the Lord. Scott was born to Richard and Virginia Harris on March 22, 1954 in Syracuse, NY. Scott was a loving husband, father, son, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. He was a neverending sports enthusiast, an avid golfer, passionate fan of SU Sports and the SF Giants. Scott graduated from ESM Class of 1972 and retired from NYS Thruway after 33 years. He was a member of Olde Oak and a former member of the Links at Erie Village Golf Courses. He leaves to cherish his memory the love of his life, Sophie (Boucher) of 34 years, adored grandchildren; Deacon, Isaac, Zander, Reina, son Thomas (Jessica), his mother, Virginia, his siblings; Stephen (Barbara), Cindy, David, cousins, nieces, nephews, In-Laws; Jim (Monica), John (Penni), Diane and Aunt Demi, along with lifelong friends, the children and pets he played with. Reunited with his Dad Richard, In-Laws; Henry and Angie Boucher and best bud August Cook.
Family wishes to extend heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Ajeet Gajra (UPHMO) with his 4th Floor Staff and Dr. Anthony Alfonso (Back To Wellness) with his staff.
The family will receive loved ones and friends 2:30-6:30 pm, Friday March 17th, Buckley Rd Baptist Church followed by a memorial service.
In lieu of flowers send some green in his honor to Carrier Park Field of Dreams Fund, Food Bank of CNY, Upstate Foundation for the Cancer Center and Children’s Hospital.
One last thought, make sure you get that Hole-In-One for Scott! Extend an olive branch and live with a heart of kindness.
