She was associated with Paddys Ranch Restaurant and retired from General Electric in 1983. She was a communicant of St. Agnes Church in Brewerton, NY and Sacred Heart Church in Cicero, NY. She enjoyed playing cards, working on crafts and doing cross stitching on towels she constantly gave away.
She is predeceased by her parents, Philip and Mary Marcek; sisters, Julia Traylour, Anne LaMantia, Margaret Cordrey and Dorothy Merlin.
She is survived by her husband of 31 years, Michael; sister, Martha Merrick; brother, James E. (Sandra) Merrick; brother-in-law, Paul (Nanette) Wyak of Horse Heads, NY; step-children, Maria Wyak of San Francisco, Margaret Ann (Richard) Norris of Sparks, NV, Michelle (David) Machen of Portland, OR, Mary (Andrew) Johnson of Timonium, MD, Michael (Roxanne) Wyak of Reno, NV, Maureen Wyak of Las Vegas; several nieces and nephews; one grandchild and one great-grandchild.
A special thanks to her God-son, Douglass who assisted in her care and constant support.
A calling hour will be Tuesday, May 2nd 10-11AM at New Comer Funeral Home, N. Syracuse with a service to follow at 11AM.
