Dr. William Arthur Penn, 87, of Baldwinsville, passed away unexpectedly on April 26, 2017. William was born January 31, 1930 in Belleville, IL to Joseph and Mercedes (Weissenborn) Penn.
He was employed at General Electric, Syracuse, NY for 40 years retiring in 1990. William was an IEEE Fellow and member of the ADK.
William was preceded in death by his son Thomas Penn. He is survived by his Wife; Caroline Elizabeth Penn, Daughter; Michelle L. Penn-Collins (Evan Gross), Sister; Joyce Bono, Grandchildren; Graycen D., Reece H. and Jaeden E. Pettitt.
A Celebration of Bill's Life will be held at 6pm on Thursday May 4, 2017 at New Comer Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to NW YMCA in his memory.
