Bill Truesdale, 80, of Liverpool, NY, took his last breath on Tuesday morning, May 16th, after a courageous battle to recover from a stroke in 2015.
Born & raised in Central Falls, RI, he moved to Syracuse in the 60s where he was the Owner/Operator of The Shaver’s World in downtown Syracuse for over 50 yrs.
In his younger days, he excelled at basketball and won numerous trophies & awards, followed by a love for bass fishing where he competed & won many tournaments.
He is survived by his wife, Janice (Berg); daughters Debbie (Mike) Rogusz & Lisa (Thom) Ennis; grandchildren Eric and Ryan Benjamin, and Danielle (Jason) Wild, and predeceased by his son Billy.
The family will gather this summer at the St. Lawrence River for a private memorial service & celebration of his life.
