1945 - 2017

William J. Clabaugh, 71, of N. Syracuse, passed away on Wednesday surrounded by his family. Bill was born in Altoona, PA to the late Robert J. and Irene Clabaugh. He served in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War. Bill retired from the Syracuse Fire Department Crash and Rescue after 30 years of service. He enjoyed traveling and spending time with his family, especially his granddaughters.

Bill is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Patricia; 2 sons, Joseph (Anne Marie) Clabaugh and Brian (Mindi) Clabaugh; granddaughters, Caroline, Cassie (Ellery) Buck, Katelyn, Jordan and Skyler; great-granddaughter, Hayden Buck and great-grandson, Dean Epperson.

Calling hours will be Wednesday, May 31st 5-8PM at New Comer Funeral Home, N. Syracuse. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday 10AM at St. Rose of Lima Church with burial to follow in North Syracuse Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of Western and Central New York, 4043 Maple Road, Suite 105, Amherst, NY 14226.
