Joan Ann Paries, 72, of Cicero, passed away June 14, 2017 following a long illness. Joan was born in Little Falls , NY on June 9, 1945 to the late John and Stella (Widanka) Wojcieson.

Joan retired from North Syracuse Central Schools after 30 years of service. In her free time, she enjoyed gardening and spending time with family and friends.

She is survived by Husband, Charles Paries, Children, Darlene (Scott) Wilson, Charlie (Renee Clark) Paries, Deborah (Dan) Cramer, James (Irish Perry) Paries, Grandchildren, Heather and Sarah Wilson, Bryce and Brooke Paries, Matthew and Meggan Cramer and Amy Lee Williams, Brother, Ray (Sue) Wojcieson, Sister, Carol (Larry) Chapin.

Family and friends may call on Monday, June 19, 2017 from 4:00 pm-7:00 pm at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 North Main, North Syracuse.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday at 10:00 am St Rose of Lima Catholic Church. Interment at North Syracuse Cemetery.

In Lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of CNY.
