Elizabeth T. “Lila” Sadler, 87, of North Syracuse, passed away peacefully on Tuesday with her husband by her side. Lila was born in Londonderry, Ireland where she went to school until she immigrated to the United States with her sister, Grace. She was briefly employed by the Hotel Syracuse and then Lamson Corporation in Eastwood for several years. Lila was a loving wife for 62 years. She enjoyed gardening, sewing and reading.

Lila was predeceased by her 2 brothers and 4 sisters.

She is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, John Sadler and numerous nieces and nephews in Northern Ireland and England. Lila is also survived by nieces and nephews, Liz Christopher, Kathleen Pollard, Doreen Ryan, Lisa Cayea, Sandra Miksche, Robert Longo and Sam Longo.

Calling hours will be held Tuesday 2-5PM at New Comer Funeral Home, N. Syracuse. A mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday 10AM at Sacred Heart Church, Cicero with burial to follow in Hillside Cemetery, Central Square. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
