Ernest was born in India. He was a born again Christian and loved to read the word of God, The Holy Bible. He had a great sense of humor and always wore a smile. He worked with the Rescue Mission of Syracuse for 28 years.
Surviving family includes, his loving wife of 41 years, Subodhika Christian; daughters, Aleta (William) Donigan, Cynthia Pyrtle, Evelyn (Joshua) Thomas; 4 grandchildren, Ava, Jasmin, Ethan and Isabella; 2 sisters, Joyce and Jerusha and a brother, Isaac.
Visitation will take place Friday, 4-7 PM at New Comer Funeral Home, N. Syracuse. A funeral service will take place Saturday at 9:30 AM at International Assembly, 4274 Lafayette Road, Jamesville, NY 13078. Burial to follow in White Chapel Memory Garden, located across from Shoppingtown Mall, DeWitt, NY.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to International Assembly Mission Fund located at the address stated above.
