Born on June 7, 1961 in Syracuse, NY. Poppy enjoyed knitting, sewing, her animals and was so kind and compassionate to everyone in her life.
She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Robert; Parents, Joseph Hanus and Ruth Polley; Brother, Jason Hanus; Sister, Holly Byrns; Sister-in-Law, Charmaine (Bruce) Fahsel and several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will take place at New Comer Funeral Home on Friday 4-6PM.
Services will follow 6PM at funeral home.
Burial will remain private.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to your local ASPCA.
