Thomas R. Knaus, 60, of Syracuse, NY, passed away with family by his side on August 1, 2017.

Tom enjoyed fishing, bowling and spending time with his grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his Mother, Frances Brownell, Father, Leland "Skip" Knaus and Sister, Karen Knaus.

Surviving family includes, Daughters, Jennifer (Joseph) Dwyer and Samantha Knaus; Grandchildren, Jacob Dwyer, Jerrid Dwyer, Johnny Knausstrange and Karly Snyder; Sisters, Cathy Corbacio, Sally Knaus-Neilon, Tina Bacon and Penny Radigan; Brothers, Peter (Lori Sheppard) Crane, Mark Carter, Skip Carter and Russell Carter as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Visitation will be held from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm, Friday, August 4, 2017 at New Comer Funeral Home, North Syracuse. Funeral services will follow.
