Beatrice was born on May 8, 1924 in Cleveland, NY. Bea was a life member of the VFW and was very active in the Sacketts Harbor American Legion. She enjoyed her trips to the casino and was an avid bingo player. She was predeceased by her husbands George Walter Emlaw and William Douglas VanDerhoff.
Beatrice is survived by her daughters, Pamela (John) Guyder, Isadora VanDerhoff, Victoria Murphy, 6 grandchildren, many great grandchildren, along with nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday from 4-6pm at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St., N. Syracuse. A memorial service will follow at 6 PM. A memorial service will follow at the funeral home.
