Born in Syracuse NY to Claire Seeley and William L Henderson Sr. William was a Naval Reservist and retired from Sears & Leaseway Corporation. He was a member of Jamesville Sportsmans Club.
Red lived for his children and grandchildren! He enjoyed the little stories about his grand babies and their visits would bring a smile to his face that would light up a room. William is predeceased by his loving wife of 62 yrs Joyce H. Williams on Jan 3, 2016.
He is survived by his children, Cathy ( Todd )Emmons, Lynne Henderson, Therese ( Vinnie ) Carroll, William III ( Shari Weaver), Harry (Antoinette Heffernan), two sisters Carol Welch and Lucy Reynolds 9 grandchildren and 8 great grand children, one great great grandson and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Sunday from 2-4pm with memorial services to be held at 4pm at New Comer Cremations and Funerals 705 N. Main St. North Syracuse.
