Raymond J. Caputo of Clay, NY passed away on November 9, 2017.

He was born in Utica, NY and graduated from Syracuse University with an engineering degree in 1963. He worked at Niagara Mohawk and National Grid as a computer analyst for over 30 years and attended mass every Sunday at Sacred Heart Church in Cicero. Ray enjoyed his family and friends the most and was an active member of the Clay Sportsman Club. He was also a Syracuse Football season ticket holder in section 215 from the very first day the Carrier Dome opened.

Ray is survived by his wife Mary, son Isaac R. Caputo (Narelle), daughter Natalianne Caputo; his five grandkids Bianca, Anna, Caiderin, Tieran, and Keillan; and his brother Daniel Caputo (Nancy) and sister Philomena Lynch.

Calling hours will be on Tuesday, November 14, 2017 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at New Comer Funeral Home (705 North Main St., North Syracuse). A mass will take place at 10:00 am Wednesday at Sacred Heart Church (8229 Brewerton Rd., Cicero). Interment will follow at Pine Plains Cemetery, Clay, NY.
