Robert Watson, 84, of Cicero, passed away November 18, 2017. Robert was born in Syracuse, on July 22, 1933 to Lester and Stella Watson.

Robert worked for Carrier Corporation and retired after 47 years. He enjoyed gardening, planting rose bushes, watching birds with his wife, reading, math logic puzzles, helping family and anyone in need and always taking care of his family and wife Bertha.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Bertha Hoyt; three daughters, Ruth (David) Sturgis, Patricia (Tom) Cooper, Judy (Chester ) Patchett; a son Albert (Dora Quick) Tyler III; four granddaughters, Brea (Mike) Maroney-Larmer, Kelly (Ryan Conklin) Maroney, Tabitha Tyler, Kristina Page; five grandsons, William (Taylor Michaud) Davis III, C.J. Patchett, Jr., Robert Patchett, Aaron Sopchak, Jason Tyler; grand-dogs, Elsa and Rudy; and many nieces, nephews, and great-grandchildren.

Family and friends may call on Sunday, November 26, 2017 from 4:00 pm-7:00 pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals - Syracuse, 705 N. Main St, Syracuse, and a sharing of memories will be held Sunday at 7:00 pm.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Hardeko Helping Paws Pantry, or an animal rescue of one's choice.
