1921 - 2017

Leigh M. Nojeim, 96 passed away at Elderwood Nursing Home to be at peace with the Lord.

She was the daughter of the late John and Amelia Nojeim.

A graduate Syracuse Central High School. She also attended Alfred State College in Ithaca. Leigh retired in 1984 after 40 years as an Executive Secretary for the Branch Managers of GMAC and MIC and made many long-term friends to the present day. She was an enthusiastic bowler, golfer and lover of classical music. She was a member of St. Ann’s Church in Syracuse.

Leigh was also predeceased by her loving sister, Julia Jiloty of Florida in August, 2014.

Survivors are her siblings; Elizabeth El-Hindi, Anne Saliba and Richard Nojeim. She cared greatly for her 17 nieces and nephews; 33 “great” ones and 5 “great-great” ones. They were a great joy for her.

Calling hours will take place at New Comer Cremations and Funerals, North Syracuse on Saturday, March 24th, 2018 from 9am-11am. Funeral Service will follow at 11am. Burial will be at Assumption Cemetery, Syracuse.
