Hector L. Perez, 74, of Syracuse, passed away on Wednesday, January 10th surrounded by his loving family. Hector was born in Villaalba, Puerto Rico. He worked at Crucible Steel for over 20 years. He was an avid wrestling fan and loved playing guitar with his grandson, Jordan.

Hector is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Laurie; six children, Gregory Perez, Lisa (David) Coates, Michael (Ashley Moses) Perez, Jesse (Felicia Precort) Perez, Lisa (Karl) Hills and Julie (Jazz) Gonzalez; twelve grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; niece, Betsy Perez and numerous family members in Puerto Rico.

Calling hours will be Monday, January 15th 3-4pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals in N. Syracuse with a service to follow at 4pm.
