Ronald F LaRose, 78, of Central Square, passed away March 16, 2018.
He was born in Ogdensburg, New York on July 23, 1939 to the late Frederick and Elizabeth LaRose.
Ronald retired from the Herald Journal and also worked as a bus driver for the Central Square School District.
In his free time,he enjoyed street racing, working on and driving his classic car with his grandson Christopher, airshows, and visiting the train museum. He also enjoyed playing with his granddaughter's Gabby and Mia.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister Sherry.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Valeda M. LaRose; his three sons, Ronald (Tammy ) LaRose Jr., Frederick (Corrine) LaRose, Michael LaRose; a daughter, Lori Frazo; eight grandchildren, Christopher (Colleen) Onofrietti, Jospeh LaRose, Timothy LaRose, Nicole V. LaRose, Lacey M (Seth) Payson, Troy VanAntwerp, Michael (Kiersten) LaRose Jr., and Shawn LaRose; five great-grandchildren, Gabby Onofrietti, Mia Onofrietti, Chase John Payson, Emery Payson, and Iris Payson; siblings, Annie, Mary, Diane, Susan, Cathy, and Billy.
Services will be private.
In the lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Upstate Golisano Children's Hospital.
