It is with great sadness that the family of Donald J. Wells announces his passing after a brief illness on May 17, 2018. According to Don, his lifetime of 88 years was a very good run. Don was predeceased by his loving wife Mary Barbara and his oldest daughter Donna. He will be remembered by his four children and their spouses, Leo and Sarah-Ann, Kathy and Jim Hitchcock, Tom and Barb, and Mary Wells and Bob Bowles; sixteen grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren, and a great-great-grandson.
Friends and loved ones can call on Tuesday, May 22, 2018 from 4-7pm at New Comer Funeral Home.
During a celebration of his life on Wednesday, May 23, 2018 at 10am at New Comer Funeral Home, we will share many “Pop-Popisms,” prior to his internment at Oakwood Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, please buy someone a beer and tell them a few jokes. Don would have definitely liked that!
