Marvin “Big Al” was born in Malone, New York on October 12, 1953 to George and Helen Young.
Marvin worked for Carpenters Union Local #12 for many years. He was an avid hunter and vintage snowmobile racer with his Son. He loved to spend time at camp with his family and loved working at his shop at home on small engines. He also was a life long member of the South Shore Rod & Gun Club in Cicero, NY.
He is survived by his Wife of 33 years, Kathy Young; Daughter, Jessica (Ken Isyk) Young; Son, Marvin Allen (Crystal) Young Jr.; Six Grandchildren, Jared, Joshua, Julia, Cibrina, Madysen, Sophia; Brother, Rodger; Two Sisters, Susie and Carolyn.
Jessica has been a wonderful help to her Father in these past few months.
Visitation will take place Tuesday, 4-7 PM at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, N. Syracuse. A funeral service will be held Wednesday at 11 AM at the funeral home. Burial to follow in Pine Plains, Clay.
