Eugene A. Tranelli, 85, went to be with the Lord on July 14, 2018, at home with his family by his side. He retired from General Motors where he worked as a pipe fitter.

He was a 28 year veteran of the Army, and also had a private pilots license and enjoyed flying small planes.

He was pre-deceased by his wife of over 30 years, Barbara and his son, Joseph.

Survivng are his current wife, Maureen; a sister, Sister Anne Tranelli SJ; a son, Luigino; his daughters, Rebecca (David George), Mandi Tranelli, Joanne Tranelli, Antoinette Tranelli-Tonkin, and Lucinda Tranelli; 9 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

Calling hours are Wednesday, July 18, from 3-8 pm at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 North Main St., North Syracuse. A funeral mass will be held Thursday, July 19th, at 10:00 am at St. Rose of Lima Church, North Syracuse.
