Gregory Griffo Jr., 75, of Solvay, NY, passed away peacefully at home on July 17, 2018 surrounded by his loved ones.

He was born in Syracuse, NY, son of the late Gregory and Margaret Griffo.

He retired from Bristol Myers Squibb in 1999 after 33 years. He later worked for Avis Budget for almost 15 years. “Gramps” was also a proud member of the Lakeside Fire Department for many years. He enjoyed bowling, golfing and always loved attending his grandchildren’s sporting events or school concerts.

Everyone who knew Greg, will forever remember him as being one of the nicest people they have ever known. He had a heart of gold and was always there to give a helping hand to those in need. Greg will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved him, especially his family.

Greg was devoted to his family and is survived by his beloved Wife of 53 years, Linda Griffo; Son, Ernie (Teri) Griffo; Daughter, Lori (Nick) Bove; Grandchildren, Erica, Katrina and Courtney Griffo, Jonathon (Kelly) and Cassi McCrum, Victoria, Nicholas and Maria Bove; Great Grandson, Jackson; Sister, MaryAnne McCarthy; Sister-In-Law, Sally Larkin; many nieces, nephews, cousins and furry companion, Charlie.

Funeral services will be private.
