James Hart, 71, of Kirkville, passed away suddenly in his sleep after a long illness.

James was born on July 21, 1946 in Syracuse the son of the late William and Mildred Hart.

Jim worked many years at Western Electric and was a truck driver for Martisco Corp. He was also an avid NASCAR Fan and he loved his pets. Most of all, he loved spending time with his grandchildren.

James is survived by his beloved wife Susan of 51 years, son, James L. Hart, Jr., grandchildren, Brionna, Brian, sisters, Kathy, Joyce (Paul), Karen (Tom), brothers, Robert (Pam), & Paul (Noreen), along with many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held on Monday July 23rd at 4:30 pm at Midler Ave. Wesleyan Church, 511 S. Midler Ave., Syracuse, NY.

Jim will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Hospice of CNY and to the Make A Wish Foundation.
