Harry J. Hall Sr., 72, of Cincinnatus, passed away Saturday at University Hospital. Born in Akwesasne, St. Regis Mohawk Reservation, he retired from Syracuse University in 1999. He is predeceased by his parents, Thomas and Margaret Hall; and a sister, Hazel Hall.
He is survived by his companion of 21 years, Shirley Johnson; sons, Harry J. Hall Jr. and Harold Cornelius; daughters, Beth (Kevin) Kazel; Linda (Paul) LeBlanc, Dawn (Mark) Fyffe, Theresa Cornelius, Beverly Cornelius; former wife, Doris Hall; brothers, Peter, Gabriel and Randy Hall; sisters, Irene Hall, Sharon Hall and Lucille Mitchell; thirteen grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; and extended family, Michael (Betsy) Johnson, Mark (Joann) Johnson, Sean (Lisa) Johnson and Lynn (Greg) Turner; six step-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be Thursday, 10:30AM at St. Lucy’s Church. Burial will follow at Onondaga Valley Cemetery. Calling Hours will be Wednesday from 4-7 PM at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St., N. Syracuse.
Contributions may be made in Harry’s honor to Kateri Tekakwitha Committee at St. Lucy’ Church.
