Robert J. Darby, 66, of Liverpool, loving husband, father and grandfather passed away on Sunday.
Born in Syracuse, Robert worked at Cambridge Filter for over 30 years and most recently at New Venture Gear. Robert will be remembered for his generosity and compassion for others. Robert was best known for his love of classic cars ( his infamous 1964 Sprint), boating and spending time with family and friends.
Robert is survived by his wife, Donna; son, John P. (Kristin) Darby; daughter, Janice (Dave) Webb; his grandchildren, Erin, Patrick and Megan; siblings, John F. Darby, Carol Kromer and Patricia Stever.
Services will be Thursday 11 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church, Cicero. Calling hours will be Wednesday from 4-7 p.m. at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St, N. Syracuse. Burial will be in Our Lady of Peace Cemetery.
