Julia E. Lotito, 77, formerly of East Syracuse, passed away Monday. She had been a resident at Loretto Nursing Home for the past 5 years. She worked as a waitress in the Syracuse area, mostly at Drumlins Country Club. She enjoyed playing cards, bingo, old movies and her family. She was predeceased by her husband of 37 years, Frank Lotito, June 1, 1998 and a brother, Thomas Gibbs.
She is survived by her daughter, Rosemary Trichilo Scandurro; her son, Joseph (Sylvia) Trichilo; a brother, Carl Gibbs; 5 grandchildren, Melissa, Lori and Joe Trichilo, Frank and Julia Scandurro; 3 great grandchildren, Angelique, Joey and Hannah Trichilo; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be Friday, 4pm at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St., N. Syracuse. Calling hours will be Friday from 2-4 pm at the funeral home, before services.
