Phyllis Ann Miles Leclau, went to join her Lord and Savior on February 25, 2015. She was born a twin on April 22, 1941 to Edward and Gertrude Miles and grew up in and around the Syracuse area. She was employed by Niagara Mohawk where she met her husband, Joseph. They were united in marriage on June 4, 1971 and were dedicated to each other for 40 years. Phyllis remained young at heart throughout her life and was full of laughter and generosity.
She was predeceased by her husband, Joseph; her parents and her sister, Patricia Jean Miles Miles Gaston.
In addition to her many friends, she leaves to mourn her passing: her children Melanie Leclau Martin and Scott Leclau; her grandchildren, Jocelyn and Tristan Martin; her brother, Edward C. Miles; her maternal aunt, Beverly (George) Druce.
Her nieces, nephews and scores of cousins all held a special place in her big heart and she loved them all.
A celebration of her life will be held Friday, March 6th from 11-12PM at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St., N. Syracuse. Services will follow at 12PM. Interment will follow at White Chapel Memory Gardens, Dewitt.
