Daniel E. “Dan” Brock, 75, of Constantia, passed away at the VA Medical Center following a long illness. He was born on March 23, 1940 in Syracuse son of the late Daniel and Winifred Brock. He served in the US Army and was a member of the Kruising Knights Car Club. He was also a member of the VFW, he was a NASCAR Fan, he was a collector of old cars, his baby being his 1953 Cougar.
Surviving are his beloved wife, Shirley of 50 years, his 4 sons; Phillip & Patrick (Gena) Shanahan, Lawrence (Kris) & Charles (Lisa) Morgan, 4 daughters; Kathleen (James) Weatherup, Maryellen (Benjamin) Bugge, Denise (Richard) Wilsey & Danielle (Michael) Peck, many grandchildren, along with many great grandchildren.
Calling hours will be held on Tuesday from 3-6pm at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St., N. Syracuse, with services to follow.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to American Cancer Society.
