Joanne M. Rosney, 86 of Troy, NY passed away peacefully Friday, July 17th at the Finger Lakes Center for Living in Auburn, NY.

She was the daughter of George and Mary Hansbury of Troy, NY. Joanne graduated from Catholic High School and worked as a Nurse’s Assistant at
Forts Ferry School in Latham, NY.

She was a communicant of Our Lady Assumption Church where she and her husband started and led a prayer group for many years. Joanne was always adventurous and full of life. She enjoyed traveling and was passionate in spreading God’s word and sharing his message.

She was predeceased by her husband of 66 years, Philip J. Rosney. They were longtime residents of Latham, before moving to Auburn in 2004.
Joanne is survived by her children and grandchildren, Colleen (Rick) and
Brian, Michael (Trish) Dan, Shannon, Lisa, Jerry (Sherey) Joe, Jen, Brother Don (Kay) Sister-in-law Margaret (Jack). Phil and Joanne have 11 great grandchildren.

Services will be private. The family would like to thank the Finger Lakes
Center for Living for their dedication and service.
