Robert S. Gowing, 83, of Brooksville, FL passed away on Thursday.
He was born on April 2, 1932, in Syracuse, NY to Philip and Mildred Gowing.
Robert was a veteran of the Korean War and a member of the American Legion.
On June 27th, 1953 he married Justine Amidon and they lived in Syracuse, NY.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Justine; parents, Philip & Mildred Gowing.
Robert is survived by his children, Steven (Irene), Charlene (Norm) Coleman, Rob (Lynda), Bruce (Kim); 11 grandchildren & 11 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Monday, October 5, 2015, from 4-7pm, at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St. in N. Syracuse.
Funeral services will be held at 7pm.
