Helen McKee Dodge February 10, 2016

Helen McKee Dodge of Malta Manor, North Syracuse, NY passed away peacefully on Wednesday February 10, 2016. Born in Hartford, Helen was the daughter of Thomas Francis and Emma (Keyes) McKee and was raised in Winsted where she graduated from St. Anthony School and from the Gilbert School. Helen was a professional secretary for many years, her employers including the State of Connecticut.
Always loyal to her Irish roots, Helen belonged to several Irish social and cultural organizations including the Irish clubs of Glastonbury and Springfield and the Ladies OAH. Moving to Syracuse, NY in 2005, Helen was a member of BVM Mother of God parish.

Helen is survived by her sister Kathryn McKee of Winsted and by her daughter Darlene (Robert) Caley of Syracuse, as well as by seven grandchildren and one great-granddaughter. She was predeceased by her parents and by her brother Thomas Leo McKee.

A traditional requiem mass will be offered at BVM Mother of God parish in Syracuse on Tuesday at 10am.
There are no calling hours. Burial will be in Winsted.
