Donald J. Brodhead, 83, of Cicero was a loving husband, father, brother, grandfather and great grandfather. Don passed away peacefully at home. He served in the Army and joined the Air National Guard. He retired from Carrier Corp. with 35 years of service. He was a founding member of the South Bay Fire Department.
He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Ruth; three sons, Donald Jr. (Tammy), David and Doug (Cyndie); six grandchildren, DJ (Shonna), Shanna (Mike), Mike, Chelsea (Mike), Stephen (Maureen) and Alex; two great grandchildren, Cristiano and Henry; twin sister, Mary Carley; and several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be Monday from 4-7pm at New Comer Funeral Home, N. Syracuse. Services will be Tuesday 9:30 AM at Sacred Heart Church, Cicero. Entombment will follow at Woodlawn Mausoleum.
Contributions in lieu of flowers may be made to the South Bay Fire Department or Sacred Heart Church, Cicero.
