Sherry (Bowman) Moran
April 27, 2016

Sherry (Bowman) Moran, 57, of Baldwinsville, a loving and compassionate woman was ushered into Heaven on Wednesday, after a valiant battle with pancreatic cancer. Although a nurse by training, her later years were spent tending to broken spirits rather than wounded bodies. Sherry’s passion for reading was driven by her desire to better share God’s love and grace. Her strong convictions eventually led her to homeschool her two youngest children. Afterwards she “retired” as a doting grandma.

She is survived by her husband of 39 years, Ed Moran; five children, Eddie (Kirstin) Moran, Chad (Holly) Moran, Brian (Jessica) Moran, Crystal (Daniel) LeClair and Matthew (Courtney Murray) Moran; 13 grandchildren, Meghan, Rebekah, Bear, Anna, Emily, Lily, Christian, Eli, Grace, Elliana, Makayla, Payton and Isabella; mother, Sharon Bowman; siblings, Glen (Judy) Bowman, Jimmy (Katie) Bowman, Raymond (Lisa) Bowman, Bobby Bowman, Becky Bowman, Scott Bowman, Kathy (Doug) Whitney and Juli (Dale) Gang; and her treasured nieces, nephews, and cousins; also the Kimbrook kids that filled her home.

Calling hours will be Monday from 3-6PM at New Comer Funeral Home, N. Syracuse. Services will follow at 6PM.

Sherry’s family would like to extend an invitation to join them for a meal in her honor immediately after the services at the Victory Bible Church, 255 Hungry Lane Road, Central Square, NY 13036.

Special thanks to her caregivers, Dr. Rahul Seth and staff. Other Godsends were Hospice of CNY and Oswego Healthcare.
