James E. Dunn, 67, of Liverpool, passed away at home with his family at his side, on Monday. He was born in Syracuse.
James was a SeaBees, serving in the Navy and he was a Vietnam veteran. He continued in the engineering trades until his retirement. James retired from GA Braun, Inc., where he found the most fulfillment with his co-workers which he considered like an extended family.
He is predeceased by his brothers, David and Thomas Dunn.
James is survived by his wife of 45 years, Francine (Harmon) Dunn; two children, Sean (Alisa) Dunn and Molly Dunn; five grandchildren, Liam, Ethan, Sean, Ellie and Sara; and several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be Friday from 12-2PM at New Comer Funeral Home, N. Syracuse. Services will follow at 2PM.
Contributions in lieu of flowers may be made to American Cancer Society or Hospice of CNY.
