Joseph R. Morin, of North Syracuse, passed away on Wednesday after a long battle with Alzheimer’s.
He retired from Crucible Steel after 38 years of service. Joe enjoyed golfing , cooking, playing guitar and spending time with his grandchildren.
He was predeceased by a son, Ronnie Morin and seven siblings.
Joe is survived by his wife of 50 years, Sharon; four children, Robert “Tim” (Betty) Holt, Linda (Russell) Bingham, John Morin and Michelle Wilkinson; eleven grandchildren, Joe Morin, Heather Francis, Trevin Gates, Michael Wilkinson, Noah Wilkinson, Jordan Morin, Jarred Morin, Krystal Wetherbee, Kasie Holcomb, Jason Holt and Steven Holt; several great-grandchildren; sister, Emelda Busch and several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be Sunday, May 29th 4-7PM at New Comer Funeral Home, N. Syracuse with services to follow.
Burial will take place on Thursday, June 2nd 11AM in N. Syracuse Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Food Bank of CNY.
