Christian D. Keys, 43, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday after a 4 year battle with pancreatic cancer. He was raised in Central Square and was a 1988 graduate of Paul V. Moore High School. Chris served in the Air Force in Minot, North Dakota where he met his wife, Tami. They later resided in Chris’s hometown to raise their 3 children; Shannon (15), Jamie (12), & Dylan (10).

He was employed by Magna International for 10 years. He enjoyed spending time with family, snowmobiling, four- wheeling, coaching Pop Warner Football, basketball and lacrosse. He was actively involved in the church at Believers' Chapel, Cicero. He was also a member of the American Legion, Central Square. He was predeceased by his mother, Patricia, and his brother, Mark.

Surviving are his wife, his children, his father, James (Jeanne) Keys, his sisters; Mary Wescott, Amy (Barry) Clark, Katy Keys, brothers; Michael (Tammy) Keys, Jim Keys (Marcy Cole), along with step-brothers, step-sisters, nieces, nephews, aunts and cousins.

Calling hours will be held on Friday from 2-4pm & 6-8pm at Believers' Chapel and Saturday from 9-11am at Believers' Chapel, 7912 Thompson Rd., Cicero, with services to follow.
