Peter A. Cauchy, 69, of Altmar, passed away on Thursday at the VA Hospital. He was born on June 15, 1945 son of the late Peter and Mary Cauchy. He served in the US Army stationed in Okinawa. He owned and operated his own horse farm where he bought, sold and traded horses. He was a member of the Adams Pony Club and the Harmony Riders. He was also a member of St. Mary’s in Altmar.
Surviving are his wife of 47 years, Sharon, 2 sons: Peter Anthony Cauchy, Jr., Michael Christopher Cauchy, daughter Lynne Ann (Daryl) Holley, 5 grandchildren: Kaylee, Peter, III, Connor, Jacob & Kerrigan, 2 step grandchildren: Matthew & Emily, 2 great grandchildren: Alyviah & Xchyler, 3 step great grandchildren: Trevor, Ulrich & McKinley, brother, Joseph (Linda) Cauchy, 2 sisters: Betty (John) Carroll and Margaret Arton.
Memorial service for Peter is at Christ Our Light Catholic Church, 23 Niagara St., Pulaski, NY on Tuesday November 4th at 1pm. There are no calling hours.
