Biodegradable caskets

Biodegradable caskets are an excellent choice for those who want to minimize their final impact on the earth.

These caskets are hand-crafted by skilled weavers from sustainable materials like willow, seagrass and bamboo. The interiors are lined with natural, unbleached cotton. No trees are cut down to produce these caskets, and they do not contain any metal components.

These caskets can be buried in a natural burial cemetery or any cemetery of your choice. You will have to check with your cemetery to see if they require a burial vault or if the biodegradable casket can simply be placed into the grave space.

Each casket includes a hinged lid that can be opened for a viewing or service, and handles for transportation by pallbearers.
