Charles E. Settle

On January 26, 1941, Charles Edward Settle was born to the late Ms. Sallie Eva Settle. He was welcomed and adored by a large family of many neighbors and friends. On Friday, December 29, 2017, he transitioned into a life of eternal rest and peace.
A native of Rockingham County, He attended the local public schools in Reidsville North Carolina. Charles moved to Syracuse New York in his early twenties, where he spent the remainder of his years. Charles recently retired from JGB in Syracuse NY.

He was preceded in death by his mother; Sallie Eva Settle Robinson. One brother; Thomas Monroe Settle, Aunts; Addie Mae Neal and Lula Hawthorn. Uncles; Doozie, Settle and Floyd Settle. He leaves to lament his passing; Special niece; Elder Annie Bell Noble (Kevin) of Reidsville, Brenda Bosley of Reidsville, Rebecca Settle (Mike) of Holiday Florida, Special Nephew; John Settle (Kitten) of Syracuse New York, James Lynn of Reidsville, William Thomas Settle (Julie) of Brunswick Maryland, Alfred Jay Settle (David) of Holiday Florida, Thomas Monroe Lynn (Fran) of Syracuse New York, Sister In-Law Lucy Settle of Holiday Florida, First Cousin Pat Morris, of Fayetteville North Carolina and; a host of other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held on Saturday January 13, 2018 from 1-2pm at New Comer Cremations and Funerals, 705 N. Main St., N. Syracuse, NY, with services to follow.
