Janis was born on November 13, 1964 the daughter of the late Stanley and Thelma Coir.
Janis loved children and was a home health aid for many years. She also loved animals and volunteered her time at various shelters. Janis liked the outdoors, camping and fishing.
Janis is survived by her husband, John, sons, John (Idaines) Anderson, Jr., Brandon Anderson, grandson, Logan, brothers, Darrell Coir, Kevin Coir, along with nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday from 10- to 11am at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 705 N. Main St., N. Syracuse, with services to follow.
Burial will take place at St. Mary’s Cemetery, DeWitt.
Donations may be made to the St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
