She worked at GE as a secretary where she met her beloved husband of 61 years, Stanley. She then worked at Smith Road Elementary School when their children were older. She was in charge of the Media Department. and also helped the principal.
She was predeceased by her parents and her sister, Jean Kirvin.
Virginia is survived by her husband Stan, sons, Kevin, Brian, Keith, Jeffrey (Melissa), grandchildren, Mark (DeAnn), Samantha (Chris) Purucker, Jessica, Joseph, Cassidy, and great grandson, Liam Meier.
Visitation will be held on Saturday from 1-4pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 705 N. Main St., N. Syracuse.
Graveside services will be held on Monday 10am at North Syracuse Cemetery in North Syracuse.
