In Memory Of
Lorraine B. Case
1927 - 2018
Soon after they married and moved to Massena, NY where she worked as a waitress while raising their four children. In later years they moved their family to Syracuse. She was a good friend and neighbor and more importantly a shining star in our family, looking after her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, loving them unconditionally. She put others before herself and she never slowed down.
Lorraine was predeceased by her husband, Robert in 1987; her son, Daniel Lloyd in 1961 and her sister, Gloria Cappelletti. She will be truly missed by her surviving children, George (Jacquelyn) Case, Deborah (Pete) DeVaul and Robyn (William) Vita. Also saying goodbye are her grandchildren, Adam (Nickola) Case, Carrie (Dennis) Smith, Aaron (Rhiannon) Case, Anthony Vita, Kevin Mayville, Tamara (Brock) Keysor and Alisha (Matthew) Davis. Finally from her great grandchildren with heavy hearts they send her off with love from Rosalena Morales, Caleb and Noah Case, Cecilia Vita, Lucas Mayville, Aryianna, Avery and Ayden Smith, Austin and Nia Mae Case, Illyria and Makayla Keysor. Also survived by a sister Carole St John of Morrisville, NC and several nieces, nephews and greats.
She whispered to us, don’t cry for me, for I am finally free. As we all know that’s quite hard to do but we whispered goodbye and we will always love you.
Calling hours will take place at New Comer Cremations and Funerals, N. Syracuse on Thursday, July 5th from 9am-11am. Funeral Service will follow at 11am. Burial will be at White Chapel Memory Gardens, DeWitt.
