Richard was born in Syracuse, New York on February 27, 1947 to the late Joseph and Catherine Wojcik.
A U.S. Army Veteran, who served in Vietnam, Richie retired from UPS after 30 years. In his free time, he was an avid Golfer and Hunter. He also was a member of American Legion Post 925 in Norfolk, NY, a life member of the VFW in N. Syracuse and a member of the FOE 4240 in Sebring, FL.
He was preceded in death by Sister, Genevieve "Jeanne" Post and Brother, Theodore Wojcik.
He is survived by his life partner, Donna Goodwin; sisters, Irene Paninski, Elizabeth Hurley; brother, Joseph Wojcik, Jr.; son, Lawrence Wilson; daughters, Angela DeRienzo and Andrea Wilson and nine Grandchildren.
Visitation will take place Thursday, 11-1 PM at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, N. Syracuse. A service will follow at 1 PM.
