Edward served honorably in the US Marine Corps during Vietnam. Ed was an active member of the North Syracuse Baptist Church and co-founder of The Open Wardrobe clothing ministry.
Edward is survived by his wife, Margaret, his precious children, Richard (Cathy) Paige, Jonn Paul (Cathy) Swartz, Rebecca Swartz, and daughter of his heart, Mari-Kristine Neyhart, as well as several beloved grandchildren & great grandchildren.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday from 4 to 6 pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals. A graveside service will be held on Friday at 10 am at Onondaga County Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Francis House, 108 Michaels Ave., Syracuse, NY 13208.
