Donald P. Rice, 85, of Bridgeport, passed away unexpectedly on August 3, 2018. Donald was born in Braintree, Vermont on May 25, 1933 to the late Percy and Mildred Rice.
A U.S. Army Veteran, Don retired after many years as a meat manager. He loved to travel but most of all loved spending time with his family.
He was predeceased by his wife Johanna Rice.
He is survived by Daughter, Heidi (Kevin) Blair; Sons, Peter (Patricia) Rice, Jens (Donna) Rice; Companion, Genevieve; 8 Grandchildren and several Great Grandchildren.
Visitation will take place Tuesday from 4-7 PM at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, N. Syracuse. Burial will be private.
