Joseph N. Catalano, 64, of Clay, passed away August 2, 2018. Joseph was born in Syracuse, on July 3, 1954 to the late Noel and Dorothy Catalano.
Joe was a Navy veteran. He made many friends in the restaurant business and went on to earn his Associates Degree in Paralegal Studies. He loved to cook, play with his dogs, and spend time with his family and friends. He will fondly be remembered as Mr. C by friends of the family. His greatest joy was his granddaughters who affectionately called him "Pop-Pop".

Joe was predeceased by a sister, Nancy Knowles.

He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Patricia Catalano; two sons, Ian (Katrina Matijczyk) Catalano, Corey (India) Catalano; granddaughters, Isabella, and Juliana; fur-babies, Ziva Lee, Duke, and Puck; a sister, Marlene Todd and family; a niece Erika Bond and family.

Services will be held at a later date.

The family would like to thank the Upstate Neurosurgical ICU team and wonderful nurses. Memorial contributions may be made to Helping Hounds or Clear Path for Veterans.
