Cynthia A. Williams, 62, of North Syracuse, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family.

She was a waitress for more than 40 years, most recently at Serpico’s Restaurant and The Turning Stone Casino.

She enjoyed the casino, Yankees Baseball, SU Basketball/Football, listening to Letizia and The Z Band, visiting with her friends at local restaurants, and loved “stories” about her grandchildren. She was a proud grandma.

She is survived by her partner of 34 years, Daniel M. Callas; children, Christine (Brian) Whidden and James (Shelly) Reese; six grandchildren; one great-grandson; siblings, Lisa (William) Foster, John Whidden, Kevin Whidden, Kenneth Clark and Rochelle Dill, several nieces, nephews and many friends.

Cynthia was predeceased by her parents, Richard and Joan Clark.

The family would like to thank the caring staff at Hematology Oncology Associates.

Calling hours will take place on Thursday, September 6th, at New Comer Cremations and Funerals, N. Syracuse from 4-7pm. Funeral Service will follow at 7pm.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Cancer Connects, 5008 Brittonfield Pkwy, P.O. Box 2010, East Syracuse, New York, 13057. Or you can visit www.cancerconnects.org
