Mary "Kathy" Rood, 65, of Syracuse, passed away October 7, 2018.
Mary was born in Syracuse, New York on December 22, 1952 to the late Arthur and Elizabeth Barlow.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Rood; a daughter, Frannie Rood; and sisters; Gloria Scott, and Frankie Barlow.
She is survived by her children, Regina(Kennon) Halverson, Rhonda(Eric) Rausa, Rebecka Rood (Charles Graydon), and Richard (Laurel) Rood; her long time companion, Ronald (Chudo) Balitz; six grandchildren; siblings, Arthur Barlow, Linda (Chris) Johnson, Joan (Adelbert) Purvis, Joyce Manipole, Sharon (Scott) Trask; and several nieces and nephews.
