Jerry L. Thompson, 53, of Syracuse, passed away on November 9th with his family by his side. Jerry was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He will be remembered as an open hearted, caring man.

He was predeceased by a brother, Cory Dale Lynn of North Carolina.

Jerry is survived by his mother, Irene Thompson of North Carolina; half-brother, Anthony Moore of North Carolina; wife of 28 years, Marsha Richway-Thompson; a daughter, Jasmine Thompson of Syracuse; 4 step-children, Brittany, Vanessa, Andrew and Diane Richway, all of Syracuse; 3 grandchildren, Lamar Stanford, Ja’Nya Stanford and Italy Givens; 10 step-grandchildren, Dejah, Andy, Jr., Lil’ Jim, Mya, Ny’Ana, Melanie, Miranda, Madison, Mikey and Baby Nate and several Aunts, Uncles and Cousins.

Visitation will be held on Friday, November 16th 11am-12pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals with a service to follow at 12pm. Burial will follow in Loomis Hill Cemtery, Syracuse.
