She was an avid golfer until her early 80s and loved to spend time with family and friends. She shared her love of music as a member of the Sweet Adelines later known as the Spirit of Syracuse Chorus and enjoyed watching musicals with her daughters and singing along. She was always active and enjoyed cross country skiing in the winter and being out in nature in the warm weather. She loved opening Christmas presents with her family gathered around her. She was Secretary of the Syracuse Women’s Bowling Association for many years and then went to work at Carrier Corporation until her retirement at the age of 75.
She was predeceased by her sons Kevin, Philip, and Eric and her grandson David.
Surviving are her daughters Katherine Shensky, Marilyn Crofoot (Jim), Janet Petrou (Taki), her sons Brian and Douglas, 14 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
The memorial service will be held on December 23, 2018 from 1 to 4 at New Comer Cremations & Funerals.
